Found: Flintstone's Bedrock City, Located About 30 Miles South of the Grand Canyon
Driving home from the Grand Canyon, AZ one day, we noticed something on the roadside we just HAD to stop and investigate. Click here for a cool bit of history on this gem (courtesy of RoadsideAmerica.com).
We stopped in on the way back from camping in the Canyon, to take a tour. We entered the Gift Shop where we were greeted by a super nice & helpful lady. We each paid the $5 admission fee, and off we went! It was a dark & stormy day, and it had just stopped raining, so this added to the creepy, desolate feeling.
Fred's Diner is open serving up Brontosaurus burgers and all kinds of goodies!
They even have a campground - and for $12 you can camp here. We didn't know this until we were on our way BACK from camping at the Grand Canyon. We would have given it a try!
